Gold Beach Community Club

Welcome to Vashon Island, Maury Island - Gold Beach!

Gold Beach:   Gold Beach is one of the most beautiful and unique beach communities on Vashon Island.  Nestled between a nature preserve and a new King County park, with many scenic and groomed walking trails.  We encourage you to get out and meet your neighbors and enjoy your unique surroundings with those that share them with us;  including Orca whales, gray whales, harbor and Dall's porpoise, deer, racoon, bald eagles, great blue heron, cormorants, a variety of seagulls and grebes, sand piper, flicker woodpeckers, Canadian geese, osprey, river otters, star-fish, geoducks, mussels, clams, flounder, salmon, cut-throat trout, herring, harbor seals, stellar seal and an occasional cougar, cyote or an elephant seal!   . . . and...this is just a partial list . . .

GBCC - Gold Beach Community Club.

Our community is organized as a legal corporation/Social Club (not a homeowners association) and includes use of our Clubhouse, where residents enjoy various activities including a full size Swim Pool, basketball court, pickleball court, table tennis, picnic areas and a massive deck with an awesome view of Mount Rainier.  Our Clubhouse has a short trail to the most beautiful, magnificent sandy beach on Puget Sound.  The beach is public access and is a perfect place to take long beach walks along the sand and driftwood.

This website is organized to help you find information about our community, it's leadership and facilities.

Orcas visit Gold Beach on Earth Day 2022:

- they spent 4 hours trying to dine on a Steller seal in front of our Clubhouse!

The Steller seal is a very endangered species . . . especially on this day . . .
